Beyond the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 crisis, new opportunities are emerging for microfinance institutions (MFIs)

Inpulse joined forces with ADA and the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation to closely monitor and analyze the effects of the COVID-19 crisis among our partners.

The results of the May survey, based on 101 partners from 47 countries presented in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America, indicate that our partners are acting proactively to adapt to the crisis and heading towards new markets or the development of new products, mostly vie enforced digitalization process. This shows how responsive the microfinance sector proves to be in times of crisis.
